Saturn Side Fiber® -
Our trademark probe for endovenous treatment
Rheinbach – The LightGuideOptics Group is one of the leading manufacturers of medical probes in the world. With respect to our customers we are positioning ourselves with a trademark for the Saturn Side Fiber® on the market of phlebology. This medical fiber has a radial emission and is used for the endovenous laser treatment of the vena saphena magna and the vena saphena parva at patients with insufficiency of their veins. This method enables a more efficient and less painful therapy of the patients. With its 360° radiation and an optimized treatment, the Saturn Side fiber is a future oriented development for medical applications in the field of phlebology. The fiber is excellently qualified for a usage in a wavelength range of 980 nm and 1470 nm.

This medical probe offers a clear advantage to customers who need to launch with a larger light diameter into the fiber at the Laser side (proximal end) than needed at the application side (distal end).

Granting of a license for RFID-system directly by LightGuideOptics.
Rheinbach – From now on LGO customers buying a medical RFID-probe directly get the right to use and merchandise the patented RFID-system in the field of laser technology legally. Users can not only gain the adequate probes with an integrated chip for their laser systems but also receive the license to use the whole RFID-system.
